Whenever i listen to music while working, it gives me more vibes and energy to do my work.

That is why you will notice some people like playing music while exercising. The music gives them the morale to continue irrespective of the pain they are feeling.

It helps you have peace within you, it helps you stay organized and gives you the confidence that you can tasks seamlessly.

Plan your work

Planning makes work easy and faster. When you don’t plan your day at work, you will likely be stressed out that day.

Planning is knowing the exact thing you want to do, writing them and doing them. It is that simple.

Not planning your day at work means you don’t know what you want to achieve, you are confused still trying to figure things out as you work which will lead to stress.

Do important tasks only

Life always presents us with choices in every area of our lives.

You can decide to do important activities in your work and get effective results or can also decide to do urgent activities in your work which will not give you effective results.

What happens at the end of the day when you do urgent activities is that in your bid to catch up with being productive, you will stress yourself because you have wasted too much time on urgent tasks that are not needed.

Delegate unimportant tasks

You need to know that you can’t to all your work all by yourself.

If you try to do that, you will either stress yourself out or make your work slow.

You don’t need to stress yourself or delay your work when you have a lot to do. You can delegate functions to people around you.

It is necessary you delegate unimportant tasks to other in order not to wear yourself out.

Take a break

It is foolish to work for over eight hours without taking a break.

If you work for eight hours straight without taking, your efficiency will reduce.

But let’s say you work for four hours, rest for thirty minutes and continue to work after, do you know you would have regained your strength and your work efficiency will increase.

Get enough sleep

I hear some people say you shouldn’t sleep until you achieve your goals.

I think that is a wrong approach towards life because when you don’t get enough sleep, your body is not optimized to deliver its best.

It is good to always rest after working so that you can prepare for body for the tasks ahead.

Eat well

One of the major causes of stress that people don’t realise is not eating well.

When you don’t eat well, you won’t have enough strength to do your work efficiently.

Your brain and your body will be overworked which will lead to stress.

Make sure you eat well so that you can have the capacity to do your work efficiently.

Sime people don’t like eating because they don’t have appetite to eat, if you are in a situation like that, I will advise you to and see a doctor.

Say no when necessary

You don’t need to say yes to everyone or every work thrown at you

People naturally like pushing their work on others to help them do it. Don’t be that person everyone pushes their job on.

Learn to say no when you have more important things to attend to.

People might not like it when you say no but your body likes it because it is good for your health.

I’m not saying you should say no all the time tasks are given to you. I’m saying you should say no to tasks that are not meant for you.
