Do you know that God has saved you from a lot of challenges you couldn’t overcome on your own.
Sometimes you face challenges that are too tough for you but at the end of it all you overcome because God was there to help you.
Let us see what the Bible says in Isaiah 59:19
“So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.”
New King James Version Isaiah 59:19
I will be sharing with you some of the things I learnt from this Bible verse .
God is always available to help
We will all face challenges in life and it is part of life. So, it is either you overcome the challenges or the challenges overcome you.
One of the ways you can overcome challenges in life is by asking God to help you in times of challenges. If you call on God to help you He will help you,
But if you don’t ask Him to help you He might not help you.
Sometimes He helps you even when you don’t ask for help because He loves you but it is good you ask for help whenever you are faced with challenges.
God is way bigger that all your challenges
No how big the challenges you are facing may look big to you the truth is that it is nothing before God.
That’s why the Bible says God will lift a standard when the flood comes. That means that the flood cannot affect God.
Asides that the flood can’t affect God, God can also protect you from the flood.
One thing is sure, if you are in God when the flood comes, the flood won’t be able to drive you away because God will lift a standard against the flood and you will be on that standard and you won’t be touched by the flood.
God knows there is a flood coming before it starts
The Bible says when the enemy comes like a flood, that implies that the enemies will definitely come like a flood.
So, it is your response that determines the result you will get. If you run to God, fayou will be saved from the flood but if you stay on you own, you might be carried away by the flood.
God knows all the challenges you will face even before those challenges begin to surface.
The person that has the answer to all problem is God.
