New King James Version Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”

I will be telling you a short story before I get started with this post.

“Once upon a time, there was a farmer who lived in a small village. He was known for his hard work and determination, but despite his best efforts, his crops never seemed to yield very much. Frustrated and discouraged, the farmer decided to seek the advice of an old and wise farmer who lived in a neighbouring village.

The old farmer listened patiently as the young farmer shared his troubles, and then he said, “My son, you have been sowing the same seeds year after year, but you are not reaping the rewards you desire. The key to a bountiful harvest is to sow a variety of different crops so that if one fails, the others can help sustain you.”

The young farmer took the old farmer’s advice to heart and decided to plant a variety of different crops on his land. He sowed corn, wheat, beans, and vegetables, and he tended to them carefully, making sure to give each one the right amount of water and sunlight.

As the seasons passed, the young farmer watched as his crops began to flourish. The corn grew tall and strong, the wheat was bountiful, and the beans and vegetables produced abundant food. The young farmer was overjoyed and realized that by diversifying his crops, he was able to reap a much greater harvest than ever before.

The young farmer was so grateful for the old farmer’s wisdom that he decided to share his newfound knowledge with other farmers in his village. He taught them about the importance of sowing a variety of different crops and how it can lead to a more bountiful harvest.

Thanks to the young farmer’s teachings, the village experienced a new era of prosperity, and the villagers never again had to worry about going hungry. The young farmer was hailed as a hero, and his story became a legend, passed down from generation to generation.

And that is the moral of the story, that variety is the key to success, and not only to sow the same thing over and over again.”

I will be sharing with you some characteristics of sowing and reaping in this post.

Multiplication

One of the things you should do in life is that whenever sow, you do not harvest in the same quantity. The harvest is always larger than the seed.

If you plant a good seed, you will get a lot of good harvests.

In the same way, if you plant a bad seed, you will get a lot of bad harvests.

Seed in this situation isn’t just referring to the seed that is used for planting. The seed also referred to our actions.

I will give you an example if you love watching TV (that can be a seed) you behave like your favourite actors on TV (harvest)

It is a general principle in life that when you sow good seeds, you will get a good harvest.

And when you sow bad seeds you will also get a bad harvest.

What makes this interesting is that the harvest is always multiplied.

This means if you sow good actions, it will be multiplied back to you.

If you also sow bad actions, it will be multiplied back to you.

So you should always think about this before you act and decide because whatever you do today will have an impact on your life tomorrow.

Same seed and harvest.

If you sow a seed of orange, you will harvest oranges,

If you sow a mango seed, you will harvest mangos

But You can’t sow orange seed and harvest mangos.

This principle also applies to our lives. You only harvest what you have planted.

If you have planted good deeds, you will also have good rewards

If you have planted bad deeds, you will also get bad rewards.

In essence, what I am saying is that you should plant good seeds whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Time & Season

You should also know that seeds do not grow and mature to full state immediately.

The growth period takes some time. Some seeds grow within days while some also grow within months

But one thing I’ve noticed is that the seeds that spend a long time growing produce more harvest.

In life, you need to be patient because the harvest doesn’t always come immediately.

Conclusion

This is a principle that cannot change. This principle works for everyone in every nation and every field.

This principle works for farmers and also works for engineers.

People that know this principle and practice it get a lot of benefits from it.
